Market Shop / Restaurant Transactions
This guide will explain how to manage your transactions when using the market shop or restaurant system.
How to View and Manage MarketShop Transactions
1. Open the MarketShop Transactions Dashboard
- Go to Operations → MarketShop.
- The Transactions table is the first thing shown on the dashboard.
- If there are no transactions yet, the table will appear blank.
- By default, transactions are sorted by time placed, with the most recent orders at the top.
2. Understand What the Default Table Shows
- The transactions list uses the newer, faster data table experience.
- You can quickly see counts of transactions by status.
- The status tabs at the top default to All.
- For MarketShop transactions specifically:
- They will always appear as Completed.
- They will always show Self Pickup as the delivery type.
- The other status labels are more relevant to the restaurant workflow than MarketShop itself.
3. Customize Which Columns You See
- Use the column settings tab to control table visibility.
- Check or uncheck columns to show only the data you care about.
- You can also pin columns to keep important fields on the left side of the table.
- This helps you organize the table for easier review.
4. Change the Sort Order
- The table currently supports sorting by order placed time.
- Use sorting to switch between:
- Newest first
- Oldest first
- This is useful when reviewing recent activity or looking back through historical transactions.
5. Download the Data for Reporting
- If you want to do deeper analysis, use the Download button.
- Export the transaction data and open it in:
- Google Sheets
- Microsoft Excel
- This is the best option for custom reporting, slicing, and dicing the data outside the app.
- The on-screen table does not show the full cost breakdown.
- The downloaded file includes the detailed breakdown, such as:
- Subtotal
- Tax
- Tips
- Total
- If you need those financial details, export the data instead of relying only on the dashboard view.
6. Search and Filter Transactions
- Use search to find transactions by:
- Order ID
- Transaction name
- You can also filter by date range.
- These tools help you quickly locate specific transactions and manage the list more efficiently.
